Start with one complete pocket page

Three printable sheets provide the writing panel, removable card, pocket and label. Bring a notebook or backing board large enough for the 120 × 170 mm panel, scissors, a ruler, paper glue and a pen.

A short introduction above, a longer note inside

Keep the date and place on BG01. Write the longer memory on BG05-a so it can be taken out to read. The pocket already has a flower cluster, so the basic page does not need bought decorations.

The included Collected label sits above the flower cluster. Keep it below the opening. Lay everything out before gluing and leave the card loose.

Example wording you can adapt: “Morning walk. Pale flowers beside the path; a cool breeze after the rain.” This is a writing prompt, not a photograph of a tested handwritten card.

Printing, glue clearance, repeated insertion and first-time making still need physical and user checks. No extra printable is required for this layout.

One background, three ways to choose your crop

BG02 has two large plants and a quiet grid between them. These views show the whole panel, its top half and a 176 × 30 mm strip from the middle. The crops describe how to cut the existing sheet; they are not additional downloads.

One plant, one caption, one quiet layer

For a separate page accent, choose the flowering sprig and one Place label. Cut an 88 × 50 mm grid rectangle from the same quiet middle section and arrange the pieces before gluing.

The label stays beside the flower silhouette instead of covering it. This is an optional use for the existing sheets; it is not added to the three-page P01 download.

What each sheet contributes

BG01 · Write the short introduction

Use the open upper area for the date and place. The pocket occupies the lower part.

BG02 · Add a background layer

Keep one large plant, or crop the quiet middle grid into smaller backing strips.

BG03 · Choose one botanical focal point

A long sprig frames an edge; a fuller flower cluster draws attention. You do not need all eight.

BG04 · Name the memory

Use a titled label for a date or place, or supply your own heading on an untitled label.

BG05 · Keep the longer story removable

The large card carries the writing; smaller cards and strips can be saved for later entries.

BG06 · Hold a card against the page

The journal page forms the back. Its two labels are included; BG05 cards are downloaded separately.

BG07 · Choose a pocket with its own back

Use the library-pocket project when you want a separate back rather than the page-backed P01 structure.

BG08 · Keep a short note inside an envelope

The matching small note is already on this sheet. It is a separate idea, not required for P01.
