Two ways to use this sheet

Color before cutting

Keep the whole sheet flat while coloring. Cut the three bookmarks once the color is dry, using the outside corner marks.

Make a botanical book gift

Choose a plant for a reader, color its bookmark, and write a personal message on the unprinted reverse if the paper allows it.

Keep the white margin

Print at 100% / Actual size, with Fit and borderless enlargement turned off. Check the 50 mm ruler. Cut straight between the outer marks for a 50 × 150 mm bookmark. The artwork is 46 × 138 mm, leaving 2 mm on each side and 6 mm at top and bottom. Do not cut the internal plant details.

Are these finished color bookmarks?

This download contains black line art for you to color. Choose Woodland Botanical Bookmarks for finished color illustrations.

Are these suitable for young children?

The fern leaflets and flower details are fairly small. They suit patient coloring with a sharp pencil; a child who needs broad, simple spaces may prefer drawing on the blank templates.

Which paper should I use?

Test ordinary paper first and use cardstock only if your printer supports it. Marker bleed, pencil texture and paper stiffness depend on your materials; physical print testing is still pending.

How many designs are included?

Three designs on one page. A4 and Letter contain the same 50 × 150 mm pieces. The PDF is not editable and has no digital fill fields.

File notes
