Backed pocket · One piece folds into front and back. Open at the top. Outside size is not usable inside space; test your paper before gluing. Compare pocket structures →
Blank library pocket template & lending card
Already have the pocket? Print only the lending card →
Choose the blank version for a two-page PDF: a cut-and-fold pocket, then an 86 × 104 mm card with book, borrower and date fields. Both paper sizes keep the same piece dimensions. The original decorated version is also available above.

Digital geometry checked. Print at 100%, measure the ruler and dry-fit the card before gluing; paper thickness and physical fit remain unverified.

Two-page blank library pocket and 86 x 104 mm lending-card trial. Print at actual size; dry-fit before gluing.
Print and use it directly, or cut it out to trace the outline onto your own paper. Transfer the fold lines and mark the glue tabs before assembling. Check the printed 50 mm ruler first.
Blank structure digital trial blank-r1. Print and fit checks remain pending. Existing project and collection PDFs contain the decorated version.
Digital candidate r0.9. Printing, paper thickness and assembly fit still need physical checks.
Fold and fit notes
Cut solid outlines, fold dashed lines and apply glue only to hatched GLUE areas. Keep the opening clear. Check the 50 mm ruler before cutting.
Fold the front toward the unprinted reverse. The reveal above the front is intentionally plain in this single-sided trial; orientation is still awaiting a physical check.
Target card compatibility is a test plan, not a verified fit claim.

Make a library note page
Follow P02 to arrange this pocket on botanical grid paper with a loose BG05 card, a label and a floral accent. Leave room above the opening to remove the card.
Keep one longer memory together
Use a large note card for the story of a visit or a garden observation. Label the surrounding page rather than covering the opening of the sleeve.
Check front and back orientation
Keep the whole outline together. Fold the front toward the unprinted reverse of the back, with its decoration facing outward, then attach only the two side tabs. The exposed area above the front is plain in this single-sided design.
A closer look

See the decorated front, bottom fold and two side glue tabs. The print is inverted for folding.

Choosing and using this printable
How is this different from the page pocket?
BG07 includes its own back panel and forms a taller sleeve. BG06 is a shorter decorated front that uses your journal page as the back.
Why is the front upside down on the flat sheet?
The front turns over along the fold at the base of the back panel. Check the folding steps in P02 before gluing so the fern and heading face outward in the assembled layout.
File notes
AI-assisted illustrations; text, linework and millimetre layout are controlled separately. The previews are rendered from the PDF.
Revision r0.9: Component IDs moved into trim waste. Artwork, writable areas and cut/fold/glue geometry preserved; physical checks pending. Physical evidence is still pending for this revision.
