Project recipe 01 / travel journal ideas

Travel Memory Page

Turn a ticket, a small photo and a few handwritten details into a travel page that feels collected rather than crowded.

Good for: Best for a trip you want to remember without making a whole album.

Plan & print this page
Completed travel memory junk journal spread with a photo, botanical cards and a paper pocket
Use this paper world as a starting point, then make space for your own memory.

What you need

One small story and a few honest materials.

  • One printed travel photo or ticket copy
  • Vintage Travel Kit PDF
  • Matte paper or light cardstock
  • Scissors and glue stick

Writing prompts

Give the page its voice.

  1. Where did you go, and what detail do you not want to forget?
  2. What would you tell someone who was there with you?
  3. Which ticket, receipt or tiny object can live in the pocket?

Photo placement guide

Leave room for the part only you can add.

Print one 4 × 3 inch landscape photo, or crop a phone photo to the same ratio. Leave a 0.25 inch cream border before placing it on the background.

Printable project planner

Plan this page before you print.

Choose a paper size and print version, then use the checklist at your craft table. Nothing is saved or uploaded.

Your print list

Make it in three moves

01

Choose one anchor

Start with one photo, ticket or place name. Let it be the largest thing on the page.

02

Print a small set

Print one background, one card sheet and one pocket sheet at Actual Size / 100%.

03

Build from the edge in

Place the paper base first, add your anchor, then tuck the small notes where they can still be read.
