Choosing and using this printable
Is this US wide-ruled or college-ruled paper?
These are metric 8 mm and 10 mm layouts, not exact US college-ruled or wide-ruled standards. Choose by your handwriting size rather than by a school specification.
How much writing space is available?
Rules run across 174 mm on A4 and 179.9 mm on Letter, between 18 mm side margins. The 8 mm version has 31 writing rows on A4 and 29 on Letter; the 10 mm version has 25 and 23 respectively.
Can I download just the wider lines?
Yes. The separate 10 mm download below is one page. The comparison pack contains one 8 mm page and one 10 mm page; select the page you prefer when printing.
Does it have a vertical margin or handwriting guide?
No. These are plain horizontal rules. There is no red vertical margin, dotted handwriting midline, background image or editable source in the download.
