Print the 2 required sheets. You need scissors, a ruler, a pencil or pen and paper glue. Use paper your printer supports; trial thickness before making a gift.
No cutting machine, hole punch or double-sided printing is needed.
Print the right pages
Choose the actual paper in your printer. Print single-sided at 100% / Actual size. Check the 50 mm ruler before cutting. Print backgrounds, cards and folded pieces separately when changing paper stock.

Use only paper supported by your printer. Paper weight, fold quality and a single stock for the whole project have not been verified.

Cut the required pieces
Cut the solid outlines of CW01-a, CW02-a, CW02-b. Keep the tabs attached to CW02-b; dashed lines are folds.

Add your own memory
Write on CW01-a using its prompts. This is your personal record; fill only the parts you want.

Fold the three tabs
Turn CW02-b printed face down. Fold its left, right and bottom tabs toward you along the dashed lines; the printed hatched faces become visible on the back.

Check the position without glue
Place CW02-a printed face up. Set the front over its lower section, also printed face up, with the bottom and both sides aligned. The top 40 mm of the back stays visible.

Attach the folded tabs
Apply a thin layer of glue only to the three folded hatched tabs of CW02-b, then press them onto the printed side of CW02-a at the checked position. Leave the centre and top opening unglued.

Slide in your keepsake
After the glue has dried, slide CW01-a into the open top without forcing it. Test removal and reinsertion before adding more paper.

Do not glue the top edge or the centre. The pocket is for a journal or an inner gift; it is not a tested postal envelope. Physical paper thickness and insertion clearance remain unverified.
